Barahathawa (Sarlahi), Jan 22: The Lions Club International has handed over modern equipment worth more than Rs 20 million to the Eye Treatment Centre in Lalbandi.Madhes Province Chief Minister Krishna Prasad Yadav handed over state-of-the-art equipment worth Rs 22 million 21 thousand 860 to the Centre amid a programme here on Wednesday.Director of Lions Club International Balkrishna Burlakoti said the equipment was handed over to the Community Eyecare Centre operating in Jalruwapani, Lalbandi Municipality-5 dor upgrading.The Club has provided equipment including a microscope, lamp and an ophthalmic surgical machine capable of performing eye surgery.After the Centre's upgrade, citizens here will...
