The bowling attack has a left-arm quick good in the Powerplay, a swing bowler, a high-end pace bowler who hits the deck hard and two different kinds of spinners. New Zealand have thrashed the hosts and won all but one of their matches in this tournament so far. Pakistan will pose challenges, but there's no doubting that the Black Caps are equipped to handle them, which makes for a mouth-watering contest on paper. Captaincy pick: Mohammad Rizwan Pakistan have struggled for runs from the opening duo, but if there's one occasion where you would expect one of the most consistent T20I batters to step up, it is a knockout game. Rizwan is right behind Suryakumar Yadav for the leading run-scorer of 2022 in T20Is and has unfortunately not had as great a T20 World Cup as he would have hoped for. However, he knows the Black Caps attack pretty well having recently played against them, and the sluggish nature of the SCG wicket would suit his style of batting too. Must-have pick: Shadab Khan The x-factor in the Pakistan line-up, Shadab might be used as a floater in the batting line-up to counter the spin duo of Ish Sodhi and Mitchell Santner. His role with the ball would also be pretty crucial here, making him an ideal pick in the fantasy team. Differential pick: Finn Allen Allen can turn the game on its head inside the Powerplay overs and Pakistan would know that all too well. His matchup against Shaheen Afridi would be keenly watched, but expect the opener to go all guns blazing from the word go. Arguably one of the best ball strikers in the first six overs in world cricket today, Allen's outstanding strike-rate is testimony to his skills as a game-changer at the top.
